Monument Valley Pathway
Happy trails await you on the Monument Valley Pathways. An extensive trail that passes through the scenic monument valley area, the Monument Valley Pathways is suitable for hikers of all ages and ability levels.
Included in the extensive trail is a 3.2 mile section that weaves its way through Terrytown. Beginning at the west end of U Street in Gering, and headlong north to Country Club Road, the path then travels east down Country Club Road to the Union Pacific Railroad crossing.
The trail travels north again past the Carpenter Center and around Terry's Lake before connecting with the Monument Valley Pathways south of the Scottsbluff YMCA.
Monument Valley Pathways includes a total of 6.3 miles of trails; 26 miles are planned.

- Hours of operation: dawn to dusk.
- Permitted uses: biking, walking, jogging, roller-skates/blades, skateboards, and wheelchairs.
- Pets must be leashed. All waste must be bagged.
- Proceed in single file around curves and under bridges.
- Alcohol prohibited.
- Non-motorized vehicles only, except wheelchairs. VIOLATORS CAN RECEIVE A FINE OF $250!
- Bicycles - announce your presence as you pass.
- Stay on the trail.
- Horses must be kept on green areas, not on concrete path.
- Please be courteous and use the trail safely.
